A Weekend of Louisiana Seafood and Live Music in the Heart of the Bayou
The Jean Lafitte Seafood Festival returns May 29–31, 2026, bringing together the very best of Louisiana seafood, live music, and authentic bayou experiences.
Set alongside the scenic Wetland Trace—a boardwalk through a 41-acre cypress swamp adjacent to the Jean Lafitte National Historical Park and Preserve—the festival offers something for everyone. Enjoy incredible food, live entertainment, kayak experiences, carnival rides, a nature trail, and arts and crafts vendors—all in one unforgettable weekend.
“This is our community’s signature event,” said Mayor Yvette Crain. “It’s a celebration of our seafood, our music, and our culture. This year’s lineup featuring Craig Morgan, Todd O’Neil, Wayne Toups, and Aaron Foret Band showcases the incredible talent we’re bringing to Lafitte.”
Festival-goers can enjoy a wide variety of fresh, locally prepared seafood—from boiled, fried, and grilled favorites to classic Louisiana cuisine—alongside continuous live music throughout the weekend.
