Jean Lafitte Seafood Festival | May 29–31, 2026
Get ready for one of the most anticipated weekends of the year in Jean Lafitte! The Jean Lafitte Seafood Festival returns May 29–31, 2026, bringing three days of incredible Louisiana seafood, live music, and authentic bayou experiences to the Jean Lafitte Auditorium and Grounds.
Set along the beautiful Wetland Trace—a boardwalk through a 41-acre cypress swamp next to the Jean Lafitte National Historical Park and Preserve—this festival is more than just great food and music. It’s a full experience. From kayaking and carnival rides to arts and crafts vendors and a scenic nature trail, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
Of course, the stars of the weekend are the food and music. Festival-goers can dig into fresh, locally prepared seafood—from boiled and fried favorites to classic Louisiana dishes—while enjoying nonstop live music all weekend long. This year’s lineup features big names like Craig Morgan, Wayne Toups, Todd O’Neil, and the Aaron Foret Band, along with a strong lineup of local favorites.
Whether you’re coming for the music, the food, or just to soak in the atmosphere, the Jean Lafitte Seafood Festival is a true celebration of the culture, community, and coastal lifestyle that make this area so special.
